Getting to DXB T2?
I am flying out on FlyDubai on Sunday afternoon, and I need to get to T2 from my hotel near the Al Fahidi metro. There doesn't seem to be an easy way to get to T2 by public transit, which is a shame. I don't really have any time pressure (flight is in the late afternoon, and I need to check out of my hotel by noon), but neither do I feel like hauling myself off multiple forms of conveyance just to save a few AED vs. taking a cab. Any suggestions?
I hear T2 is very grubby but I may as well get used to it, since I am flying to Yemen which is also pretty grubby (or so I imagine).

When staying near the Dubai Healthcare City metro stop, I just take a cab when going to terminal 2; its fast and cheap.
The terminal is being refurbished but will still be a bit of a dump.
