Dubai or Abu Dhabi with a toddler!
Got a four day stay coming up in March - it's a stopover with Etihad so need to decide whether to stay in AD or use the free Etihad coaches and go to Dubai.
Been to Dubai several times but never to Abu Dhabi. Any recommendations on which is better with a toddler? I know Dubai has lots of parks etc plus the "Walk" seems like a good place with a child - not sure if the same can be said for Abu Dhabi?

Abu Dhabi has plenty of parks and many mini-play areas (see-saws, swings etc) tucked around the city (which I've never spotted in Dubai but maybe they're there too). The Corniche parks, beaches etc would be a great place to toddle.

I vote for Dubai but with obvious bias.
Heaps of parks here, as well plenty of stuff to do indoors at the malls.
They even have a magazine here dedicated to keeping the kids entertained:

If they like watching cartoons, I'd avoid Dubai. For example, people in Dubai don't like watching the Flintstones. Luckily, people in Abu Dhabi do...
