Advice requested for Istanbul

I have a layover in IST between 4PM-10PM (flight out is about midnight). It seems to be too late for any of the day tours I checked out online - most seem to start in the morning. If there is a tour anyone is aware of that I can do after 4PM and finishing before 10pm, I would definitely appreciate this.

I will be on my own BTW.

One option I came u with as I am coming off long flight only to get on another long flight after the layover, is a couple of hours at a hamam. What I was thinking was first getting to hamam, then getting dinner before checking out a couple of sites. Any input on which hamam and sites I can check out in this time?

I am actually staying in IST for a couple of days on the way back home so will check out more sites later.

Thanks

we stayed in the old section of town, so the tourist sites were in walking distances. beware that the entrance fees to museums are on the high side.

yes, my recollection is $10-15 entrance fee each. And, some of them don't take dollars or credit cards, but Turkish Lira cash only.
