Wife and I were booked on Sept 21 to go IAD-LAX-SYD-AKL.
The IAD-LAX flight was the aircraft from CDG that was diverted to Atlantic City.
We arrived LAX 5 hours late, of course missed the connection to SYD, and UA put us up at the Hilton, rebooked us on Air New Zealand the next evening. We rented a car and visited the Getty Museum.

Now I see that there is bad weather again at IAD with flash flood warnings this afternoon.

(I can't read) ... IAD will have a h*ll time today and tomorrow, then it will improve
