Kids in Philly

So I've got one day in Philly with two kids, ages 6 and 2. Do I go with the Please Touch museum or Franklin Institute? Thanks!

If you have a full day you might be able to see both places. If you had to choose the children might enjoy the Please Touch Museum more. It has recently been relocated to a building that is remaining from the Centennial Exhibition. I have not been there yet but heard it is great and kids love it.

6 seems a bit young for the Franklin Institute (but $12 isn't bad for the base admission). However, I have seen tons of young kids there running around playing with exhibits. I can't believe they are getting any knowledge out of those exhibits...just playin'.

While I've never taken my kids, I've heard good things about Please Touch.

Thanks for the tips. We actually spent the day at the Please Touch museum. The kids had a wonderful time - we ended up spending about 3.5 hours there.

FYI -- you can get $1.50 off per ticket with a AAA card. Not much, but it's something.
