Generic white B767's at IAD

Does anybody know who owns the generic white B767's that sit on the apron between Terminal C/D and the tower?

And, as long as we're on the topic :-), what is the test-track-looking-thing that sits about a quarter mile south of the approach end of RWY 1L?

This isn't really topical for the UA Forum as the aircraft in question are not owned or operated by UA, nor does UA control IAD operations. Therefore, this is being moved to the Washington, D.C Forum.

Not exactly. The plane used has always been a FedEx 727. They would need much larger teams to pull a 767.

The track you see is the driver training facility for the Fairfax County Police Department. The track is only one of a handful of driver training tracks in the nation built specifically for law enforcement.

Let sleeping dogs lie.

I'm not sure if you are asking about one particular 767. Don't ask. Don't take pictures of it. Just be happy.

In the US, there are certain things that you should not take pictures of even though there is no "No Photography" sign. I read on the internet where one person was forced to delete photos of what was considered a sensitive area (but where there are photos of it already on the internet).

The two mystery 767's parked remotely at IAD are operated by "The Company" and frequently fly IAD-KBL.
