i think the talk of "security" and DCA is just ridiculous. IAD isn't too far from washington, so the "one crazy pilot" thing can apply there too. i mean, i guess we could shut down all the airports in the DC area to make it safe.
on a serious note, i feel security at DCA is a little tighter then other airports. at least that's what i've noticed when i've gone through there. i think it's an awesoem airport, easy to get too, and it's a very nice terminal (not including A). i'm glad they decided to keep it open and not do a knee-jerk reaction to 9/11 and shut it down.

I would LOVE for a DCA-SFO flight on UA...seriously, love it.
With the expansion taking place at IAD, and the slashing of airline capacity, I cannot see DCA growing much. It would be nice to weed out some of the smaller US flights - free up some air, decrease delays, etc.

i would like 20 rt flights a day to dfw, as that is where i fly to visit mommy. 20 flights will knock the rate down.
