Breakfast options IAD

I haven't been through IAD in two years.

I have a mainline UA redeye with a 2.5 hour connection at Dulles to a UAX flight.

What's a good breakfast spot?

Don't want -- meaty breakfast, bad pastries.
Do want -- Interesting options, particularly those with a California or southwest flavor.

Any suggestions?

No idea what you're really looking for in terms of food, breakfast in an airport is fairly generic IMO ... There is a sit down something in D before you get to the people mover next to Subway; in C, there is a california tortilla place or a sit down next to Burger King. There is also a potbelly (toasted sandwiches) down by c2 or so.

If you go to A, there is a 5 guys, a pizza place and another one that I've bought soup at but don't know the name.

If you really have time, go into B and visit Dunkin Donuts, and they have a few restaurants over that way as well (the sit down is a longer walk). B is connected to A

You could do worse than a California Tortilla Co. breakfast burrito with any of a multitude of hot sauces on it.

You've got time to wander the B concourse. I think "Tequileria" might interest you....

(By the way, the "soup place in A" is named Cosi.)
