Question Wireless in EWR

Hi,
Sorry if this is the wrong section of the forum to post in but I can't seem to find anything more appropriate. I'll be in EWR for a long time and I was just wondering if the wireless access was free? (so I know if i should pack my laptop or not)

Thanks!

Try the TravelBuzz or Travel Technology forums.

But in answer to your question, check here: http://www.travelpost.com/airport-wi...-internet.aspx

EWR Wireless

I was at EWR much of this past Sunday (MR, 1/14). No, overall, it's not free. A friend told me that if you sit with your back against the wall to the main President's Club, you can pick up their (free) signal. I tried it from the Starbuck's, next door to the PC, with no luck. However, I have a B card. A G or N card might just pick it up, from there.

Worse case scenario, the paid wireless is only $7.95 for the whole day.

PC is B, not A or G.

If you're going to be there long enough, it might be worth a day pass for the PC.

I'll move this to the Mid-Atlantic forum for further discussion of services available in a specific airport in that region.
