Anyone have recommendations for a reliable limo service from IAD for group of 5 with a lot of luggage to get to the Springfield VA area?

You have a couple of choices - The contracted taxi service that operates at IAD is Washington Flyer. I just used them to go TO Dulles with a lot of luggage so we called in advance and requested they send an SUV to pick us up - They sent a Suburban which worked great. I am not sure exactly how it would work leaving Dulles - there is a taxi stand and a line of cabs so you could probably request or wait for an SUV, but i don't think you can reserve it in advance leaving Dulles. The other company I am familiar with is Red Top - they run a taxi and a sedan / limo service. I use the sedan service frequently for work and always works well. They also have black SUV service and I believe regular limos as well. They operate on the traditional sedan / limo process where a driver meets you at baggage claim with a sign. You can call them and ask for an estimate on cost and figure out what kind of SUV / size limo you need given 5 people with a lot of luggage.
