It's unlikely that you'll get a tour of the White House, but you should definitely call your congressman/senator to see what kind of passes they may have available. One really cool touristy thing I did a while back was to climb the stairs that circle the Rotunda and look out over DC from just below that Indian dude atop the Capitol. You'll need a congressman to escort you (I think) but it's really cool. Anyway, call your representatives and see what they can do for you.

Its actually a lady and she is not an Indian but Freedom, she is dressed in Indian style clothing but she is anglo. More infomation can be found here-
