IAD Shuttle Times to C & D?

Can anyone update the forum and PM me if convenient about the time it is now taking to go from the Main terminal to concourses C & D using the people movers?

Trying to estimate how much more time to add on, now that the routing between the concourses has changed.

Thanks!

The shuttle from Main to D takes 7-8 minutes. It's route is basically unchanged - although it has to swing further west going around B because of construction.

The shuttle from Main C just started taking a much longer route. Like the D shuttle, it now goes around the hardstands at the west end of B and then comes all the way back to its normal dock at C17. I was on the C shuttle from C to Main this morning - it had to stop twice for planes being pushed back, and took almost 15 minutes for the trip.

Arrived on a flight from FRA last week at about 4:30pm. Must take the quaranteen shuttle directly from airplane to immigration. WAshington to the left, continuing passengers to the right.

2 wide bodies and about 20 min. later, the waiting area filled, and the hall to the area filled. Transfer passengers could not get to the hall to go to the right.

People movers finally showed up, and we arrived in the immigration line within 45min of arrival. Immigration had a large number of agents(big surprise) and the line moved quite fast. Only about a 15 min. wait.

It was a very rare occasion; my baggage arrived on the carrasel before I got there.

Ad in the Sun Wash Post for drivers. Pays about $20 an hour.
