Best Pub Grub in Philly?

I've heard mention of:
Standard Tap
Ten Oak
Monk's

Anybody have any opinions to share about pubs near Center City?

Well, based upon advice at egullet.com, I hit Roosevelt Tavern for some lunch. People rave about their 1. low prices; and 2. burgers.

Both ARE worth raving about! If you buy a drink, burger/fry combo is 2.95, .50 for any toppings like cheese, mushrooms, etc. And they are nice-sized - perfect for lunch.

The meat patty must be from a tasty cut of beef, and it's seasoned well, because it is soooo flavorful - this is one burger I'd enjoy almost as much as plain as with cheese!

It's located on the Southeast corner of 23rd and Walnut - within walking distance of Center City. Just a regular pub/tavern - they are currently remodeling.

If you need a fix when you are in Philly, this should hit the spot!

They also have an awesome happy hour special. $5 cover, penny drinks (no limits). Get there early or you may have to wait in line.

Good food too...

The egullet.com folks have a thread devoted to bar food in Philly: http://forums.egullet.com/index.php?showtopic=30830

I might also add the following places (I use to live in Art Museum area and would eat here all the time):

Bishops Collar (or as some locals call it "The Collar")
London Grill
Rembrandts (bar only)

Also in CC, Nodding Head, Black Sheep and Standard Tap.
