Parking at IAD Thanksgiving 2025

I am flying out of IAD Tuesday Nov 25 early in the day and then returning Friday. I noticed that reservations for Garages 1 and 2 are sold out. Will I be able to get a spot in one of them without a reservation? If not how about the terminal lot or economy? Or should I just Uber?

The reservations are sold out for the garages, but they don't reserve all spots 'for reservations'. If both garages will be full, you can park in the long term lot.
I don't think they will run out of space in the long term lot. The only downside of the long term lot is that you have to take a bus which can take anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes to get you to the terminal.

Thanks. I am not that familiar with Dulles parking so this is helpful.

dulles has economy lots. Thry could be full.

a few other parking options

1. do a hotel stay, park and fly if your flight is in the morning
2. park at a metro station for overnight parking. Innovation station, has parking garages as do a few of the stations in the other side of the airport. Ashburn station has a parking garage that is not part of metro parking management you can also use.

before you get to the airport there are color named economy lots that you take a shuttle bus. I have no idea if the lots will get filled. https://airportparkingguides.com/dul...t-parking-map/

Is multi-day parking allowed at Innovation? For some reason I thought it was not not.

Thanks everyone for your comments. I asked because I had the experience earlier this year with Garage 1 showing plenty of space availability on the Dulles website but then 45 minutes later when I got there the lot full sign was displayed. That said I had no problem parking in Garage 1 on the 25th. Indeed I was early enough that I got a very nice spot. Happy Thanksgiving to all.
