Connecting flight at Dulles
I will be flying from Albuquerque, NM (ABQ)> IAD > Rome, Italy ( FCO)
and back again the same route.
On United Airlines.
my concern is about my connection At IAD .
Departing ABQ> IAD> FCO. i have 4hrs 19 minutes connection time in Dulles. On a Tues.
Departing FCO>IAD>ABQ. i have 3hrs connection tim in Dulles. On a Friday.
My first question or concern is about HOW I will GET to my gates (One for international departure, one for domestic) when arriving in Dulles?
Anyone know at which concourses I will arrive for both flights?
AND from which concourses i will depart?
Will I have to collect my bags and recheck? Procedure?
Any info will help this girl who usually flys domestic. TKS!

Neither presents any issues and you will have plenty of time in both directions absent, of course, IRROPS.
Your flights will both leave from the C/D concourse,
Outbound, you will check your bags through at ABQ and won't see them again until arrival at FCO.
Inbound you will still check your bags through to ABQ at FCO, but you will briefly shepard them through Customs and drop them again at bag check. On the inbound you will go through CBP at the midfield terminal. After CBP, you will drop our bags, go through TSA and be dumped back out into the C concourse where you can walk to your departure gate for ABQ.
