Dover area restaurants
I am going to Dover, DE for work for just over a week in August. What are restaurants I should eat at? I know there isn't a ton in the area and would love any suggestions.

If you are traveling and eating solo, this won't be all that fun, but if you have companions then you could take a ride out to Leipsic (pronounced lip-sick) and eat at Sambo's Tavern. This is the best crab house in Delaware and a must-do experience if you're in Dover in the summertime. Reservations highly recommended if you go on a weekend.

Dover is chain restaurant hell. A few decent options though:
Roma on Bay Road near DAFB - Good red sauce Italian... been in town forever and it's nothing spectacular but dependable.
Franco's on Rt. 10 also near the base - informal pizzeria with good food
Grotto Pizza - Just opened it's long awaited Dover branch recently. Not as good as the beach but a source for the popular pie in Dover
Restuarant 55 on South State Street Extension (Alt 113) in Rising Sun - closest thing to gourmet burgers in Dover. Good cheap eats.
Nothing fancy on this list because there's not much to write about in our humble capital city...
