Breakfast Options near DCA

I have a breakfast planned next week with the president of one of the companies I consult with. He is flying out of DCA at 11:30am so wants to meet somewhere in the area. Does anyone have any suggestions of somewhere close by the airport? The last time we met, we did Socci at the Rennaisance.

Unfortunately all the restaurants in Crystal City are great for lunch/dinner but not so much for breakfast. I didn't know if I was missing something other than all of the Hotel restaurants. I know there are a lot more options for Brunch on weekends, but this is on a Wednesday.

Thanks.

You might try Old Town, as it's a 10 minute drive, and there are a bunch of decent breakfast venues right along King.

If this guy has any sort of hankering for Japanese food, Teaism in Old Town might be a pleasant surprise for him--it's one of the tragically few places around town that does okonamayaki, and their breakfast version lived up to the compliments the Post gave it a while back.

Hotel Monaco in Old Town has a nice breakfast. Taxi/drive time to DCA on a Wednesday after breakfast hours will take only ten minutes or so...

we have not eaten in hotel monaco. since it is a klimpton, i would expect a lot from it. we have eaten frequently at morrison house, and find it to be very good. it is also a klimpton that is just around the corner from monaco. the breakfast menu looks great. i would probably eat breakfast there once before taking heavy iron.

if you want me to cover it for you, just call in your credit card, and i will check it out.
