direct delivery???
about five years ago was the last time i was picked up(by a"moon"buggy) at a lounge and delivered to the cabin of the plane. was an AZ flight, and from a NW lounge. anyone still offer that service?
as an aside, got to MXP, and the ground crews were on strike. no one to run the jet bridge. we sat on the plane for over an hour. the folks who jumped up to get off the plane did not want to loose their place. they stood the whole time. the FA's were furious. this was a "wildcat" strike, and unannounced.

No, the only time I've seen them do direct to plane in the last few years is arrivals after the concourse has closed for the night.
most people only see them now for international arrivals, and that's via a gate.

I recall a few times doing this....it was when a small startup tried to do service from a now private/charter airport thus the terminal was nothing.
