Need a MR partner
I just moved to DC about 2 months ago, don't know very many people and ones I do know think that "mileage runs" are a waste of time and money and that I'm crazy. My new job comes with a fair bit of travel but I've found myself doing quite a few MR's as well. They're kind of boring by myself :-P so I'm looking for a MR partner to do a few with next year.

Ever since my first one I've been addicated to MR's! I mainly do West-coast or mid-west MR's on the weekends, sometimes with overnights other times with same-day returns. I'd like to do at least one Europe MR this spring too. I always try and do a friday dep. sunday afternoon or monday AM return.

Cool. Let me know when you bought a ticket or thinking of getting a ticket to do a weekends MRs, I'll try my best to join the fun.
The reason I'm planning to do a Euro MRs is that I have many friends in UK and Germany that I don't mind doing a short trips (like 1 or 2 days). Not sure staying over night at the destination defeat the purpose of MRs tho. Because I've read a lot of MR reports with people staying only several hours at the airport and take the flight again.
Right now, I'm looking at the weekends of Jan 18, Feb 15th to europe and Memorial day weekend to IST because there's Formula 1 race happening there. Hope there will be some deals coming up so that I could jump on it.

That's awesome to have friends over there, less cost for the trip with a place to stay!
It depends. Some times it just nice to have a little vacation with your MR, especially if you find a good hotel rate where you're going... I've done MR's that I've literally gotten of the plane, waiting for the turnaround at the gate and gotten back on it to go somwhere else (IAD-MIA-ORD). I got some looks, haha.
The only one I have booked for far is BWI-SEA weekend. Jan 9-11. Upgrades cleared on all segs. already :-D $230.40 a/i which isn't too bad.
