Where to get Married in Mexico?
Mrs. Mo and I would like to get married on the beach in February or March of 2007. We would like to make it affordable for our guests to stay somewhere bc flights will be expensive. Does anyone have any recommendations for places to get married and/or places for our guests to stay?

I think La Ropa beach in Zijuatenejo would be ideal. There are a variety of hotels, from high end to mid-range to budget, the beach is gorgeous, and there is none of the high rise tackiness and Carlos n Charlies chain stuff you find in the major resorts. On the higher end, Villa del Sol and La Casa que Canta are two of the nicest hotels in Mexico, and are perfect places to get married. I have been to weddings at both and they were exceptionally beautiful. Also, if you are on a budget, a friend had her reception at Las Gaviotas, a barefoot, seafood restaurant (great lobster tacos and tuna) at the far end of the beach, that was a lot of fun and the food was exceptional.
