Cancun Restaurants
Am going to Cancun again this year. Any suggestions of great places to eat. When I was there last about 2 years ago, among our favorites were:
El Pescador, excellent seafood and fair prices.
La Dolce Vita, Italian, elegant setting on the lagoon, great food, not cheap!
La Habichuela, an expensive, must try restaurant, located downtown, serving Mexican/Yucatn dishes and great seafood.
Each time we go to Cancun we pick one new special (we hope)restaurant. This last time it was the Mitachi at the Hilton (Km 17). This
gourmet restaurant serves the finest Japanese cuisine overlooking the beach. I found a 20% discount coupon that made its already fair but not cheap prices even better. It had excellent sushi and wonderful fish, shrimp and lobsters. We loved it.
I need your help in selecting a special restaurant to try this year. Any suggestions?
BTW, check out http://www.entertainment-plus.net/index.cfm for a great 2 x 1 discount card. We used it and also used the transportation service to the hotel. Both were great two years ago and hopefully still are.
Faro's was and still is included on the card. It is on the lagoon now with a great view, nautical setting, extensive seafood menu and high prices. We recovered the cost of the card with that one meal.
