Well, I've had the limited experience of about half a day there, but...... when we drove in (small signed road off the 307 highway), there was a small parking lot on the right. There was a snorkle rental shop at the exit, but we kept going pretty straight along the street, then path to the beach. (There seemed to be more shops and such off to the left, but we went directly to the beach.) Just as you reach the sand, to the left is a coop of locals who show an introductory film and then guide you in a half-circle around the little cove to see fish and coral, then the turtles and rays on the other side, and rent snorkle equipment (mask, snorkle, fins, life vest)if you need it (250 pesos or U$20 pp). We felt good using them since it seemed to put money in local residents pockets, and they were very genial and helpful. As we exited the water, to the right of where we entered the beach (when facing the cove), there are a couple of large thatched-roof restaurant/bars on the beach. The food was bar food (wings, fries, etc), and pretty good, the drinks too.

Thanks VidaNaPraia!
So finally here, hotel is amazing for the price I paid (Aventura Mexicana, check it out).
I was going to book chichen itza and tutu, through Hotel but their pride was $105 and $99 respectively. We stopped by Easy Tours and met awesome fella named Ben Vertiz. Chatted with him for a good hour and he got us a great deal for those two places for $60 each and a trip to Akulum and food/drinks included for $65.
I can give his phone number and email if anyone is interested.

Forget chichen itza and take ADO to coba and back. Also set up a snorkeling tour with Mexico blue dream. Also try aguachiles and el pirata and some of the Italian places. You don't need any organized tour anywhere except snorkeling.

We are planning a very last minute trip to PDC for the end of this month. We are leaning towards staying at The Royal Resort. Does anyone have experience with this property? We have a few questions:
- What is included and not included in the "all inclusive"
- Any recommendations for specific room locations (eg facing garden, high floor v low floor, etc)
- How noisy / loud is this resort? We do not have any child and we are also not huge partiers. On Trip Advisor it looks like there may be a dance club / bar within the resort?
- Most importantly, what is the most affordable way to get from Cancun airport to the resort, and back to the airport from the resort?
Thanks in advance!

Car rental in Playa del Carmen
I bought my tickets to travel to Playa del Carmen next week with my family, my travel plan is as follows:
2 of February in Guadalajara
5 of February 5 to the city of Mexico
7 of February in Cozumel
9 of February in Cancun and Playa del Carmen
The question is that when I get to Cancun in less than 12 hours I have to get a quick way to travel to Playa del Carmen, could you recommend someplace where I can get transport quickly? (other than ADO)
Txs.
