Multiple Reservations during consecutive stay.
So I am planning a trip next summer for two weeks at either the JW in Cancun or Casa Magna. Travelling with the wife and two kids I always look at booking a one bedroom suite to give us some extra room, we generally stay for a two week period.
Anyway, while looking at rates at the JW, I saw a one bedroom suite on a package including breakfast for two adults and stay three get the fourth night free sand dollar rate. Instead of booking my two weeks straight, I booked three four night stays to get me the twelve nights and one two night stay at the prevailing rates.
Will this work and entitle me to three free nights for the first twelve? I am curious to know if anyone has tried this and whether I will run into difficulty at the hotel. It's a savings of about $1500 so not insignificant.
Thanks.

I do this quite often and it works fine. I have never encountered problems from the hotel. No worries.

I've done the exact thing you describe at the Casa Magna Cancun, but for two stays (8 nights), not three (12 nights). Never had a problem. Even paid with Gift Cheques which they post as cash and earned points.
