2 BR suites with full kitchen
I'm looking for a nicer Marriott brand condo or hotel style 2 bedroom with Kitchen.
Checking from Orlando to the Miami area, Ocean front is a plus, but the Orlando area is good too. This is for a family holiday get together.
Seems Starwoods has many top end choices but Marriott is more limited. Help a west coasted find somewhere nice in Florida. Yes I have searched without much feedback.

The only marriotts that have rooms like that are part of the vacation club or residence inns, so limit your search to those.
There are about eight vacation clubs in Orlando and about 13 total in Florida. See here for the vacation clubs: http://marriott-vacations.com/travel/resorts.html.
You can also search on the website for just residence inns which have 2 bedroom suites.
Which starwoods have rooms like that?

Have you tried Residence Inn? Orlando has several of these hotels. They do offer two bedroom suites, full kitchen, and complimentary breakfast. Residence Inn is a Marriott brand.

I do believe that TownPlace Suites also have 2 Br suites with kitchens as well. While TPSes aren't necessarily on the plush side, most of them are pretty new.
But as stated, if you want a "nicer" place, then the MVCI properties may be you best bet. Grand Vista is a nice property and even has some 3 br. suites as well. Plus if the family is there, they have some very nice pools and other options for the kids.

We stayed at the Beach Place or something like that in Ft. Lauderdale. It is across the street from the beach but it was decent. A Vacation Club property 2 bedrooms/2 baths, kitchen/living/dining. Washer and dryer. The space was really pretty good. We are a family of 5. This was a number of years ago. Of course the RC at Key Biscayne has some owned units - I assume some are 2 bedrooms - no Marriott points or nights earned however.
