In the past I have complained in print and verbally to those that would listen, abou the cutbacks and deterioration of the Concierge Lounge. I must now be as vocal as I have had a good experience in Salt Lake City.

Stayed at the Downtown Marriott (not convention center one) EXCELLENT. It was the way it used to be, I felt special. Great selection of food in morning & evening, lounge was open all day, coffee was on & chips, cookies etc & staffed. Great experience - great lounge. I hope this is a sign that all will be changing for the better.

I am going to the Marirott Marq. Times Sq again and I hope it is better than it was in March when I was there.

Anyway, way to go Salt Lake^

Lounge in Berlin is great (April and May of 2009): open long hours, helpful staff and varied, tasty, filling and constantly refilled spread. London Grosvenor House as of May 2009 not bad, but not as good as Berlin. Colorado Springs (May 2009) not worth the space it takes up.

Are you referring to the "Salt Lake City Marriott Downtown" which is right across from the Salt Palace Convention Center or

the "Salt Lake City Marriott City Center" which is not located by a convention center?
