Noob Question?

I'm about to book a 4 night (5th free) reward stay at a Marriott.

My question is, do you earn credit towards total night stays when you are staying at a Marriott through a reward booking?

Couldn't find it anywhere in the policy even though I'm sure it is.

Thanks!

Nope. No stay credits. Though if you are staying at a FS property, it is possible to receive points for incidental purchases.

Hi,

Just to confirm, it can be found in the FAQ section of the Marriott Rewards website, T&C - Elite Membership:

Reward certificate stays do not count toward Elite membership.
Cheers,
