bonus points ?/using 2 hotels close together

bonus points ?/using 2 hotels close together
I'm fairly certain I've read the answer to this before but I'll be darned if I can find it. I am staying at the PHL Marriott one night but now realize I must be in PHL two nights. If I stay at the Courtyard the first night, check out the next morning and then check into the PHL Marriott will I get bonus points for both stays (5K points) since these hotels are across the street from each other?

I did 3 consecutive nights at different Marriotts in New Jersey/New york back in Novmeber and got the bonus points for all stays.

I guess my concern is that these hotels are across the street from each other.

It doesn't matter if the two properties are separated by a street or an entire continent - you will be completing 2 individual stays at 2 individual hotels so will get bonus points as appropriate.

I must have missed something. What bonus are we discussing here? I'm not aware of any promotion that gives 5000 bonus points for each 1-night stay -- but I'd sure like to know about it!

not sure, but he may mean the 2.5k per stay megabonus is what he meant (starting from2nd stay)
