Seeking recommendation on bedding

As weary road warriors, I suspect you folks know bedding about as well as anyone. And, I would expect your own beds to be as good as any at Marriott, Ritz, or other. With that, would you recommend a brand I should consider as a replacement for my nearly 25 year old Restonic mattress and box springs.

Still, the best bed I have ever slept in was at the Marriott East in Manhattan, back in Nov. of 2001. I don't know if the Revive Bedding was around back then but it was indeed plush.

Thanks.

I have to be honest and say that no hotel bed is anywhere near as good as my Sleep Number bed. The best sleep I've ever had...

Full disclosure: I have no affiliation at all with the company or with anyone with the company that makes sleep number products.

If you must stay with a hotel affilaited product I will second the Heavenly Bed recomendation.

Don't buy it from Westin. You wind up paying more for the naming. The bed is made by Simmons, so if you go to a store that sells Simmons, they'll have several beds at several different price points, that are amazingly close to the Heavenly Bed. Just walk in and say "we really like the heavenly bed, what do you have" and they'll know which sets to show you.

How do I know? About 6 years ago my wife and I stayed at a Westin, then went bed shopping. Bought one of the top-tier but not top-of-the-line Simmons mattress sets because it felt just like the HB, but cost quite a bit less than the hotel branded version. Something like 2000 nights of sleeping later, it's still the most comfortable bed we've ever been in.

Hi, I work for Select Comfort in customer service. Forums such as this are such a great resource when you're planning a purchase. I'm not in sales so I'm not here to sell you a bed, but I do think our beds are pretty great, and I hope you'll consider us among the many other options. I also want to thank PHLGovFlyer for the kind words.

We now have our beds in Radisson Hotels, which gives you a chance to try one out before buying it! Here's a link where you can learn more http://www.radissonsleepnumberbed.com/ .
