E E O Coupons - 2009?

Has Marriott announced the blackout dates for the 2009 EEO coupons? I am planning my schedule for 2009 and I know that at some point Marriott makes public the dates the coupons are valid....
Thanks.

They usually announce a few weeks after the start of the period As far as I know, 2009 hasn't been announced yet. And we're assuming that they'll have them in '09. Given the 'enhancements', that might not be true.

Cheers.

If I remember correctly, they usually aren't released until after Oct. 31st. Also, as Sharon mentions, given all the "program" changes Marriott has just announced, the EEOs may not be on the top of their "to do" list at the moment.

The final batch for 2008 has a date range of 31 October 2008 to 11 January 2009. So they have a while to get them out.

An EEO is an Exclusive Elite Offer, available to gold and platinum members of Marriott. There are 3 sets of EEOs each year, consisting of a BOGO for weekend stays at Marriott and Renaissance properties and a BOGO for dinners at Marriott and Renaissance properties. These coupons are mailed to gold and platinum members and can be printed online. They can be transferred to other people by the elite members.

By "them", do you mean the final 2008 batch? or first 2009?

I don't currently see the 10/31/08 - 1/11/09 offer in my "platinum deals".

Thanks - although it's strange that they would not announce the offers in advance of the first available date, but come to think of it, that sounds about right from past experience.

Not 31

Valid until 1/11 not the 31rst. At least that's what I see under Platinum Offers Page 3.

Not to sound ungrateful for these certs but once again the two places I would want to use these Renaissance Asheville Hotel and Renaissance Charleston Hotel Historic District are on the blackout list. Not sure why as these aren't that expensive of hotels.

Living in Atlanta I find these hard to use for "fun" weekend trips within driving range w/ wife and 5 y/o . Everything in Florida is a resort and then you have the two above. Oh well, I guess it is Savannah again or the Marriott in Charleston outside of downtown.

Sorry to complain....just needed to gripe for a minute. I will just have to do some creative thinking to use these!
