Hi,
I am starting to plan our next vacation, preferably for November 2009. I would like to take my family (husband and two boys, will be 15 and 11 by that time) to somewhere with a beach...either US or Europe (not Florida). I'm also trying to combine with my frequent flier miles, so preferably somewhere USAir flies. Not sure I want to do Hawaii, but I'm open if people are really enthusiastic about it.
I'm VERY picky about the hotel. It must not be overly crowded or noisy, must be up-to-date (not in need of renovation), have beautiful grounds, a clean, uncrowded beach, and have good service. Can be a Ritz Carlton (I think I will have enough points for that).
Hopefully I'm not asking for the world here! Thanks for your recommendations.

I don't know if the Cayman RC still is taking Pointsaver awards, but if they are, it is a great place to use points. It meets all of your requirements and is probably the best hotel/resort in the Cayman islands.

Hi,
Do you intend to swim in the sea/get a suntan? If so, strike Europe from your list in November. If you want beach weather in November, it's either the Southern hemisphere, or Florida.
How about places like Costa Rica?
Cheers,

Okay, it's not the US or Europe, but how about the RC or JW in Cancun?
