Marriott Resort Key Largo
Me and the wife will be staying at the Marriott Resort in Key Largo for 3 days in Sept. then the FI in Key West for 3 days.. just wondered if anyone has stayed at either of these properties and what you think of them??
Also, any suggestions of good restaurants by either hotel... thanks!!

I stayed at the Marriott Key Largo 2 years ago....I know at that time the were in the beginning stages of a renovation. Our room was finished, very nicely with upgraded beds and bedding-finishing touches were all nicely done. We got a Bayview room which I highly recommend, it was well worth the extra money to sit on your balcony at sunset. I would not call it an extensive resort, but for a romantic getaway it fit the requirements. I will be returning in the future. There is a restaurant on property, a short walk away called Gus' I think---good brunch buffet. There are also bars with limited menus, I didn't eat there, so I can't comment on them.

You might want to read reviews on tripadvisor.com. There
are several writers who suggest that the quality has declined
