LNF and Advance Purchase

Looking to book a FS Marriott stay (where and when are irrelevant). Advance purchase rate is available (249), and the "regular" rate is available (299).

LNF rules state it's supposed to go against the lowest rate available, right? So, would it apply to the advance purchase rate or the lowest "regular" rate?

never looked into LNF or its rules, but advance purchase rates are excluded from all other promotions and offers. So, seems unlikely.

FYI, I submitted a claim against the lowest "regular" rate, it was accepted.

Is marriott.com offering the advance purchase rate or another online site such as priceline or travelocity?

In this case, yes. The rate I found even beat the advance purchase rate on marriott.com. But I submitted the challenge based on the "regular" rate since that's the apples-to-apples comparison.

I'll be very curious to see what the outcome is on this one.

My earlier posting might have been a little fuzzy...sorry about that.

The claim was successful, based on the lower "regular" rate.
