Is there anything wrong with Bloor? I see people mentioning the other 2, but not much talk about this one. Have a stay coming up there in a couple weeks.

I've heard decent things about Bloor, but haven't stayed. Maybe limited reports because the other 2 are more central for bizness that folk are in town for? A search might call up some threads re: Bloor.

Eaton Centre has just gone through a remodel, and is in a quieter part of town, yet just a few minute walk from the TTC and much closer to the financial district.

I see the OP made his decision, but I stayed at the CY Downtown a lot during a project a few years back. Decent area, walking distance to restaurants.

I stayed at Eaton Centre over Memorial Day weekend. I found it to be well located. The newly renovated rooms are very nice.
One concierge (sorry I do not remember his name) was very helpful.
