I am not an environmental activist by any stretch but please don't get tired of being "green". I was appalled by my last two visits to Florida and the apparent lack of urgency regarding recycling. Way, way, WAY behind the times...

I'm in the pro-bottle camp, and also the if you don't want them trade for something else or decline them camp. BTW - I'm not fanatically green, but I do try to be more green at home (energy efficient lightbulbs, which also reduces electricity bill, recycle newspapers, plastic, etc). Cheers.

I have a love/hate thing regarding water bottles. I have not brought them into my home for several years but I do not turn them down when offered. My biggest issue is with people who only drink a portion and then toss the half full bottles in the trash or worst on the ground. The bigger issue is all single serve drink bottles that end up in our landfills. It seems as if nobody on this thread is old enough to remember living without the much loved bottled water.

BTW
My wife is turning into a GREEN MONSTER. She always brings the bottles home so they can be recycled.
