A new snafu because of DST?
Stayed in a Hilton Garden Inn Fri-Sat night in Port St Lucie FL, a got a nice note under my door Sat night reminding us of DST and to change our clocks.
Drove 6 hours across the state and checked in to the TPA REN late Sunday night, where I wasn't given a CL room and I suspect the FD clerk lied about being "sold out" up there. Certainly the lounge attendant didn't seem to think so given the low volume of traffic.
Any way, it was a rough sleep due to those trademark Marriott self slamming doors late in the PM and very early in the AM. I finally awoke without the alarm and it was 8:43 am - not the 7am I had programmed for the night before.
Upon closer inspection, the digits of the Time of Day were correct but the AM/PM were switched (shades of Seinfeld). Yes, I should have checked myself. I hate their Phillips CD clocks that took me all of last week to figure out (with reading glasses) just to operate a simple alarm. I thought I had it nailed down.
I missed a workout and was 1+ hour late to work. When I mentioned it at checkout, the clerk told me how another guest had just commended them about what a wonderful job they had done changing all the clocks!
