Quick Points?

What is the quickest way to get some Marriott points? I had made some purchases at the mall and rented from Hertz last month, but they haven't gone through yet. I was hoping for a Spa redemption next week. Has anyone had experience with earning points that posted within a week?

Thanks,
Marcia

I just thought I would "advance buy" things I need anyway, or maybe one of the survey sites, etc. I checked e-rewards and they don't give Marriott.

One guy on FT bought something on Sky Mall through the Marriott website and reported that the points posted quickly to his account. It is the first post here.

Great idea! There's always something at Skymall and 20 per $1 is terrific.

Thanks,
Marcia
