Dinner for two certificate

Any recommendations for using the dinner for two certificates in San Francisco? We have eaten at Fournou's Oven in Stanford Court and thought it was good. Has anyone used one of these there or anywhere else in San Francisco. We are also going to Capri and Rome in August and could also use them there. Also, can you use more that one certificate per table?
Thanks,
Ann

The Dinner for 2 certificates can not be used in Capri. I had an unbelievable problem using them there in April of this year even though I had emailed the hotel to ask if they could be used. I was told yes, but unfortunately this was late in 2006 and they apparently stopped accepting them at the start of 2007 or so Marriott customer service told me. It took more than an hour to get the matter resolved as we sat in a COMPLETELY EMPTY RESTAURANT. The front desk person came down and said no, the manager was called and said no. Finally they relented after I was able to produce the email with the name of the person that told me they were valid.

I would not be surprised to find that Rome does not accept them either but I do not k now.

BTW Marriott customer Service was of no help when I reported this problem to them. I still have one of the stupid things left (I guess you can tell I'm still a wee bit annoyed over the incident)

There is a list on the Marriot website. For all intents and purposes they are not valid overseas ( there are a few exceptions)
