Status Matching
I was wondering which hotel chains match status. I am approaching Diamond VIP at Hilton (attained it the hard way) and what is the process of getting my status matched at each of the hotel chains. I only care about Hilton, Marriott, Starwood and Hyatt.

Call Marriott Rewards and request status match. They will ask for copy of your HH card and printout of your previous stays. Nothing to hard - my coworkers have done it with no problems.

You might want to check out the Hotel Status Match Master Thread first. Most of the posts here seem to show that while it is possible to get a status comp, Marriott is the least likely of the major chains to do one. You will probably be more successful asking for a status Challenge rather than a comp.
