Never.....ever......again. I was forced to leave my beloved Long Beach Marriott due to unavailablity of rooms to this miserable excuse for a hotel.
I've been here since last Saturday and not one single day has passed where I haven't had to call down to the front desk with a complaint. Granted, the hotel is under renovation... but if the renovation is going to cause this number of problems, then they should CLOSE pending completion.
No hot water for two days......wake up calls not delivered......unintelligible, non-English speaking front desk clerks......need to call to find out when my laundry is going to return to me......

Oh wow, they had really good rates in the summer and I almost stayed there. Now we know why.

Stayed there a couple of times for matress runs-cheap rates.
Don;t forget that this place also gets tons of kids on weekends for band/cheerleading/sports dos at DL.
Not quite on my never again list-but close.

I've been to that Marriott, although not during the renovation. Its ordinary, neither particularly good nor bad. It does have free parking and free internet in the business center which is always a plus.
