Marriott Award Question

My family and I are booked for a week at a category six hotel with a pool view requiring two upgrades - totaling 170,000 points. I would like to order the hotel and air certificate. Can I get a hotel/air certificate and then order the 14 upgrade vouchers separately?

Thanks in advance.

Yes. There shouldn't be any issue with doing that. Even if you had ordered a plain 7-night cat 6 award reservation, you would do the exact same thing. So don't worry and get back to planning that vacation.

Yes, I did exactly what you're trying to do for my stay at the Marriott Kauai Beach Resort this past summer. Book the 1 week award stay online and check the box indicating you already have an award certificate. Then call MR and have them issue your travel package award and the 14 upgrade vouchers. When I did it, everything was easy and the UA miles showed up in about 2 days.
