Can someone please tell me what MASHA stands for and do all Marriott Hotels worldwide use it?

Thanks

MARSHA post

I assume all Marriotts use it, but that would just be a guess on my part.

MARSHA is the Marriott Automated Reservation System for Hotel Accommodations. She was born approximately 1972 on a mainframe.

How do you like that, and here I always thought that all Marriotts using Marsha was a code word that All those Marriotts props had the in with the local Escort services and would provide said in kind if asked

Then again The Ren in AMS has them right around the corner from the Hotel, so I guess thats 1 Marriott Hotel that wouldnt have used Marsha,

Craz, you are crazy! More power to you! In AMS they (the local escort services...MARSHAS??? j/k folks) are not only right around the corner, they are across the street, for both females AND males, AND, if you want to get a laugh, go stand in line at the concierge in the lobby when there are at least 5 or 6 people waiting for information, and there is bound to be at least 1 who is looking for a recommendation for the best of one or the other (meaning either female or male), I have heard it twice now while waiting in line for dining information there from the concierge with the bushy gray handlebar moustache. But be prepared for what you will hear, so you don't laugh out loud, which is what I did the first time I heard a man ask for that particular advice. It was not that someone wanted to partake of that particular service that I found funny, it was that the man would ask a 60+ man in a hotel uniform in front of a group of other people in a hotel lobby! (The REN AMS is FAR, FAR better in quality, ambiance, and certainly central location, than the MAR AMS, so that is where I always choose to stay when it is not full.)

After the utter failure of the consolidated project with AA and Avis or Hertz, as I recall. What was that called? I can't remember.
