For those of you that have a sweet tooth be aware that the desserts in the Club lounge ends at 8 PM; or maybe 8:30 PM in this hotel; or is it 10 PM? I walked in for some water at 8:35 PM and noticed the dessert area bare and a few guests looking. So I asked the lounge attendant and was told he put them away at 8.
The service directory in the room printed desserts from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm. Just outside the Club Lounge has a sign saying 7:30 to 8:30. But the insert in the check-in key folder said 7:30 to 8:00 PM.
I don't care for sweet too much so that didn't bother me. I pointed it out to the hotel manager but was given a lame excuse that the dessert do not stay fresh out too long.

I know this too well.
In fact once the tray is empty desert time is over.
Happened once so I called down to the desk to complain.
Within 5 minutes I have a piece of chocolate cake and glass of milk delivered to my room.
This is still one of my favorite properties in DC.

I do enjoy the grit and scramble egg in the morning.
