Anyone ever order one?

No, but I wish I had.

I have a friend whose family runs a holding company for a number of Marriott properties, including a FS M. I could have bagged a Marriott bed at his cost. But instead I stayed in a Hilton in Savannah, GA last year & slept in a Tempur-pedic. That one night was like sleeping on a cloud.

So, like a moron, I decided I needed a Tempur-pedic lookalike in a Sealy TrueForm bed.

At this point, five months into the bed, there is a 2" hole (impression) in the middle of the bed. Thank God, there is a 10 year non-prorated warranty on the monster. I'll be sleeping without back pain by next Saturday.

If I had done better homework & not been dazzleed by that one night, I'd have bagged a Marriott bed & saved $600.

If you don't know a Marriott bed guy, buy the bed on-line at marriott.com & be done with it.

I need to see my chiropractor on Monday.

Mainly curious how delivery works does Marriott keep mattresses in warehouses around the country or will it be trucked halfway across the nation at my expense and will the remove the old mattress like a typical mattress store will?

Mrs. Cyberdad ordered one in November. Told to expect it in January, but instead it arrived a week or so before Christmas. Other than the fact that I think it was somewhat overpriced, we're quite pleased with it. Very comfortable. Unlike the pillows we also ordered, which were IMHO substandard.

Biggest disappointment, however, was no points. I'm sure Marriott gets a nice chunk of the big markup, so why not give MR points?

Off the top, I don't recall about the delivery charge. I was out of town (sleeping on another Marriott matress) when ours arrived. I'll see if I can dig that up. As for our old mattress, we kept it and put it in the guest room.

I am thinking of ordering a Marriott Mattress myself. Just curious EllinJ if you ordered one and if you are happy with it. Anyone else who ordered one please give me your advice.

No I never did order it. I had some other expenses come up, will probably reconsider 1Q next year.
