BEST JW in the world?

I have NWA Vouchers to burn and love to stay at JW's. I've stayed in Cancun and JW Desert Ridge in North Phx/Scottsdale.

Is there a better JW in the world? I am staying at the one in Seoul, Korea in October.

What is the Best JW in the world?

What is the BEST JW in the US or at least close Time Zone?

I love the Ihilani on Oahu. The rooms are great. Haven't stayed at any outside the US that I remember, in the US this is my favorite.

I like the JW Phuket, Thailand.

The JW Orlando is OK, but no lounge. No vote here.

The JW Washington DC is a joke.

I like the JW bangkok, which I prefer over the JW Phuket, but I doubt anyone else would (free internet breaks the tie for me). The surrounings of Phuket are 1000% nicer than bangkok but bangkok have 1000% more things to do. Depends if you want to sit by the pool and relax or go out.

JW Las Vegas is nice, but no lounge - no vote.

The JW Ihilani is very nice, large rooms, but no breakfast or lounge and you pay for both parking and internet.

I've probably stayed at others, but Phuket gets my vote.

Going to JW Rio in Dec. for the first time!

Billy

I loved the JW Orlando. No lounge, as someone above mentioned, but great service and fantastic lazy river pool.

Also loved the great service at Camelback. Props for the strawberry shortcake, as well.

My wife and I stayed at the Camelback last December and fell in love with it - so much so that we are going back this year.

I will be staying at the Ihiliani for the first time in August - have heard great things about that too.

While I wouldn't rank it at the top, I've also enjoyed several stays at Le Merigot, which is a very nice property, though I am not a huge fan of Santa Monica.

I second the JW Shanghai....fantastic rooms, great lounge, even better library (secluded), views, superb service and restaurants.

JW Orlando is horrible, and the one in DC is indistinguishable from any other full-service Marriott. Camelback is old (finally getting remodeled).

Seoul is outstanding, as is Las Vegas. I'm trying Desert Ridge in three weeks, so I'll post back after that.

I fourth JW Shanghai due to the excellent room, 50th Floor city view lounge and 60th Floor library. As platium, you can ask for a suite, since they have executive apartment attached with the hotel, so sometimes you can ask 1 bed room or 2 bed room suite.
However I was told that there is an incoming JW Marriott Beijing which will open on Dec could be better

My favorite is Starr Pass

in Tucson - it's very new (less than 3 years old) - smallest room is about 430 sq.ft. - spent 60 nights last year and was always upgraded to a suite and always had welcome gifts (bottle of wine, plate of cheese, fruits etc.) in addition to the welcome amenity.

Extremely friendly, courteous and professional staff (with astonishingly low turnover!!!)

And the golf is spectacular! ^

Well, I've only been to one JW Marriott and that was on the isle of Capri. So take my comments with a grain of salt but it was a very nice stay and a great location.

Thumbs up 5th Vote for Shanghai

It is an A.MAZ.ING property!

I had the car service pick-up at airport, upon arriving I was greeted as the car door opened - then, escorted directly to my upgraded suite to take care of the paperwork normally done at the front desk.

Fresh flowers in my living room area and bathroom - refreshed as needed.

Service is extra-ordinary; beyond my expectations. It was a pleasure to come "home" to the JW every evening.
