Lifetime Marriott Stays/Points

Is there a way to find out what your lifetime totals are? Also, I was reading about Platinum Premier/Lifetime levels, but the info looked outdated. Has anyone heard of this recently?
Thanks!

You can't find out where you are on line, you need to call Customer Service and they will tell you.

AFAIK, nothing in the lifetime program has changed. So even though some of the lifetime info here on FT maybe a year or two old, it should still be accurate.

Also, I don't think there has ever been anything definitive posted here or officially released by Marriott on the requirements for Plat Premier status. The closest I have seen here is that the guess that Plat Premier is given to the top x% of Plats in terms of revenue generation (where "x" is some arbitrary number). If that is true, then the actual requirements would change every year based on the stays from all of Marriotts Plats for the previous year.

I thinks these levels also count 15 nights each year for the Marrriott Premier Visa ?

Yes, the fifteen nights from the Premier Visa count towards lifetime elite status.

That was also my understanding, until my nights from last year did NOT get counted. I called the customer support line and was told that they do NOT count. I know that's not what I heard last year....

Strange. The information I have states that the 15 Elite nights credited to your account every year count towards the Emeritus/Lifetime status.

Chris that would be great news - I'm very close to lifetime platinum and was counting on these to help get me there as my new job does not require any travel :(

Any way I can confirm this "officially" so I can call and have the additional nights added in? Thank you very much for your reply.

I sent a query via the "Contact Us" website function last night and had a response by 3 this afternoon.

It seems like I've been staying with Marriott forever but I still won't hit even lifetime Silver until late this year.

Are the 12+ years mandatory? I meet all the other criteria, I think, except for the years.

VA1379 Jul 18, 2007 7:01 pm

Yes, the twelve years are required. I was told this by a CSR when I inquired about my lifetime totals several months ago.

Thanks for this info. I e-mailed Marriott last night and they responded this morning.

Just one more year away from lifetime Silver. All other requirements have been met. (Funny how several of us are at the same spot.)

:)

what about if you were in the CY club or the Marquis Club or whatever it was called back in the 90's.. do those years count?

I know Club Marquis does count...I'm sure in one form or another the CY Club would count

hhoope01 Jul 19, 2007 10:27 am

I was told that my nights in the Courtyard Club counted, but I don't think the years of membership apply as I was a member of the CY club before '95 which is, according to Marriott, the year they show as my join date.
