Travel Pkg Miles Post Quickly!
I redeemed a Marriott Travel Pakage (Hotel+Miles+Discount Rental Car Cert) on Friday. The last time I redeemed a pkg was over a year ago. I was amazed to find when I checked my AA acount today (Sunday) that the miles had already posted with a date of Friday. So, if AA's date is to be believed, my miles posted the same day I requested the travel package. Can't beat that. Thought this might be of interest to others when thinking of redeeming travel packages.

I don't remember if I received my AA points that quickly or not the last time I redeemed a travel package award. But in any case, I don't think it was very long before I saw the points post. ^

I just redeemed a package with CO miles...friday...and i'm waiting on mine. They told me it could take 2-4 WEEKS!

I have ordered 4 packages over the past 5 years, all of which went to AA and posted overnight. The most recent was last Wednesday. I have always been pleasantly surprised at the quick turnaround.

I just ordered one this afternoon for United and they quoted 3 days or less for expedited service. Seems like very good turnaround time. We had been thinking about going back to Hawaii for a while but weren't sure we would be able to go. Now that we can and the trip is the last week of June and first week of July, I wanted the UA MP miles ASAP to book the award flights (yes I am sucking it up and using standard awards). I'll update this post with the actual turnaround time after I receive the miles.

Never taken me more than 2-3 days for BA miles. (not expedited)

UA Miles Posted in Roughly 1 Day
My UA miles showed up in my MP account tonight. So it took just over 24 hours for them to post. I am very pleased! Off to wrestle with united.bomb next

My Delta miles usually post in 24 hours, expedited as a Platinum.
My schedule never lets me plan in advance.
I look for the air first and have a 48 hour hold placed on the ticket then call Marriott to have the package ordered and miles sent to my account.
Never fails.
