Renaissance MCO - Construction question

got a great rate at the RI near WDW for my trip, however the last couple of days I couldn't get a good rate so I decided to move near the airport for basically one day of pooling and an early flight out the 2nd morning

I saw a great rate at the Renaissance, but I also noticed this disclaimer:

Front desk, main entrance, restaurant, lounge, lobby, and guest rooms are under renovation March 30, 2007 through July 31, 2007. We offer limited food and beverage services.

Has anyone been there, and can anyone update on how bad it is there?

thanks

I might have to go there to pick up an old friend of mine. If I go, I'll sneak in the lobby and report

While I can't speak for the current affairs of the construction, save yourself the headache and book over at the Marriott MCO accross the street, already rennovated, awesome staff, and 100x's better.

This property has caused me more heartache, and fight that I care to tell. I would only book there if there were no other alternatives.

My $0.02...YMMV
