NPR Rate

Has anyone come across the variety of AA rates when using the NPR code? I'm curious if these are available for the general public, AAdvantage Members of American Airlines, or have further restrictions on use...any feedback?

Yes, the NPR code has come up showing a number of various types of rates. Some of them publicly available, some not. If you want to verify that the AA rate you are seeing is available to you, I would give Marriott reservations a call and ask them. They should be able to see the rate code and let you know if it is a valid code for you to use.

With that said, the American Airlines 35% Off Incentive Award thread seems to imply that this rate may require the use of AA points. Again, your best bet would be to call Marriott and ask about it. Note that the above mentioned thread is a couple of years old, so that rate and code use may be different from the one you are currently seeing.

I also wonder if the AA Incentive reward might be a deal where you'd need to present a copy of your ticket or reservation indicating that you'd flown on AA to the city where the hotel is located.

Just a guess.
