Negative experience in Arlington, TX
The hotel for business travelers by business travelers
You have got to be kidding me the Courtyard Arlington Ballpark is so far from this it is down right silly.
The last two nights large groups of kids have been yelling in the pool until midnight or after keeping me awake.
Calling the front desks gets the voice answering system that all representatives are busy please hold the line. Maybe if all hell was not breaking loose in the pool some one could answer the phone!
here is the message for the rest of you. DO NOT STAY HERE.
There is a very nice Hampton Inn Homewood Suites and Wynndom near by.
DO NOT STAY HERE EVER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!!!!

As for the Courtyard being "for business blah, blah, blah.." go to this thread.
By Arlington, did you mean Texas or Virginia? You didn't say but I'll guess Texas. If so, I have stayed in that area at the SHS and, yes, it is next to a Six Flags park as well as a stadium so it will get a lot of leisure traffic. If you want to avoid the young'uns, try the Marriott DFW South.
You ARE going to write a letter to the GM, aren't you?

Yes, the OP probably does mean TX, as I've stayed at the CY Arlington Ballpark before. And I would concur that you will definitely see a lot of kids there. In fact, the times I stayed there I was bringing our church youth group of about 100+ kids to a youth activity down in that area. So I've seen that hotel being over run with lots of kids.
