Searching for Reward Availability

Is there a way on Marriott's web site to see if a hotel has any standard reward availability during a certain time frame.

I am considering a trip to Europe- can go anytime Oct-NOv 2007 and want to see which hotels may be available for diffrent date combinations.

You can do a search for availability with your MR number entered and the Use Rewards box checked and it should show you what awards are available

OK, here we go again:

1. Try to "use points" for a hotel stay (i.e., book an award)
2. Give the city/country etc.
3. When the hotel come up, choose which one you want.
4. Pick a date.
5. If it's available (for your room type), it will say so; however:
6. At the bottom of the list of rooms, you will see verbiage like "Didn't find what you want? Try flexible date options." or something like that. Click on it.
7. You will get a little dialog box. Select the starting date and it will look for up to 4 weeks from then.
8. On the next screen, choose the standard award room. For now, don't choose the rooms that say Stay Anytime or Pointstretcher or that have additional fees and so on.
9. You will be shown a 4 week calendar with Standard availability shown for each day.

Obviously, you can go back and change the start date, and quickly get a snapshot of award availability for a whole year if you want, 4 weeks at a time.

Also works with ordinary rates, government rates, corporate rates, etc., as well as Stay Anytime and Pointstretcher (ha!) rates.

You're welcome.

Thanks for the explanation. I never knew this was available.
A Sticky would be nice here.
